Within the ECCOE project, a Model Credit Recognition Agreement (MCRA, henceforth) template tool has been created, in order to help staff from higher education institutions (HEIs) who wish to establish mutual agreements recognising and validating each other’s courses, following several quality criteria defined in the project (to be piloted and reviewed in a separate process).
In order to validate the MCRA tool, an open peer review process has been established among experts with relevant experience in (virtual) mobility recognition processes. This review will take two phases, firstly, an internal one for members from the institutions in the project, and secondly, once the results from the first phase have been incorporated, a wider one, for other experts to undertake the same trial process.
The final version resulting from this open peer review will be validated by the relevant legal departments of the Higher Education Institution partners (DHBW in Germany, METID in Italia, UNED in Spain, and VMU in Lithuania) before translation into the 6 partner languages (FR, ES, DE, IT, LT and NL).
